Wabah virus corona jadi fokus publik. Pakar kesehatan menyebut, mencuci tangan adalah salah satu cara terbaik untuk melindungi diri dari virus corona.
Mereka menganjurkan untuk mencuci tangan selama 20 detik. Bahkan, Centre for Disease Control and Prevention menyebut waktu selama itu butuh dua kali menyanyikan lagu 'Happy Birthday'.
"Ada beberapa penelitian yang menunjukkan kepada kita bahwa jumlah mikroba di tangan berkurang lebih banyak ketika mencuci tangan lebih lama. Sabun menghilangkan mikroba di tangan dan semakin lama menggosok, makin banyak mikroba yang dihilangkan," kata Janet Baseman, seorang profesor epidemiologi di University of Washington School of Public Health.
