'Pork and Beans' Lagu Weezer yang Cuek

Jakarta - 'Pork and Beans' merupakan salah satu lagu dari album Weezer terbaru The Red Album yang dirilis secara digital pada April 2008.

Diciptakan sendiri oleh sang vokalis Rivers Cuomo. Lagu ini merupakan reaksi dari pertemuannya dengan executive produser mereka yang mengatakan bahwa lagu mereka kurang komersil secara material.

Lirik Lagu 'Porks and Beans' terkesan sangat cuek dan rebel yang justru menarik.

Weezer seakan ingin memberi pernyataan "terserah gue" pada lagu ini. Mungkin mereka tidak terlalu perduli dengan pendapat bahwa mereka kurang komersil. Aransemen musiknya pun dibuat sangat catchy.

Secara chart, lagu 'Pork and Beans' ini merupakan single tersukses dari 16 tahun karir mereka. Lagu ini menempati urutan nomor 1 di Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks selama 3 minggu dan diunduh melalui itunes sebanyak 17.000 kali.
