Muse adalah grup musik rock alternatif asal Inggris yang beranggotakan Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme, dan Dominic Howard. Telah memulai kariernya sejak 1994, hingga kini grup musik tersebut telah memiliki banyak lagu. Salah satunya yaitu lagu Uprising yang masuk ke dalam album The Resistence.
Lagu Uprising yang dirilis pada 2009 ini ditulis langsung oleh Matt Bellamy. Lagu yang pernah mendapat sertifikat platinum di UK ini, bercerita mengenai pembrontakan.
Liriknya sendiri seperti mengajak pendengarnya untuk memberikan perlawanan terhadap ketidakadilan yang dilakukan oleh kaum elite atau pemerintah terhadap rakyatnya.
