Kendrick Lamar Punya Delapan Alasan untuk Tidak 'Humble'

Jakarta - Kendrick Lamar 'membersihkan' nominasi MTV Video Music Awards 2017. Daftar nominasi yang diumumkan melalui Instagram Live tersebut diborong sang rapper.

Video musik untuk lagu berjudul 'HUMBLE.' tersebut meraih delapan nominasi. Terakhir, ia juga meraih nominasi untuk 'Artist of the Year'.

'HUMBLE.' dinominasikan untuk 'Video of the Year', 'Best Hip-Hop', 'Best Cinematography', 'Best Direction', 'Best Art Direction', 'Best Visual Effects' dan 'Best Choreography'. Artis yang berada di tiga besar peraih nominasi terbanyak ada Katy Perry dan The Weeknd.

Keduanya meraih lima nominasi. Itu bakal menjadi persaingan yang sangat ketat dalam ajang tahunan itu. Lamar dan The Weeknd bakal melawan Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Lorde dan Ed Sheeran untuk 'Artist of the Year'. Melihat daftar tersebut, Lamar punya alasan untuk tidak humble.

VMA 2017 akan ditayangkan langsung dari The Forum di Inglewood, California, pada hari Minggu, 27 Agustus pukul 8:00 waktu setempat.
