Adele VS James Bay di Brit Awards 2016

Ajang penghargaan tahunan bidang musik di Inggris Raya, Brit Awards kembali digelar tahun ini. Brit Awards 2016 siap memberikan gelar-gelar terbaik kepada sederet musisi berkualitas sepanjang 2015.

Tidak hanya dari Inggris, Brit Awards 2016 pun siap menganugerahi mereka yang berasal dari luar negeri. Sebelum sampai di malam puncak, seluruh nominasi dari 11 kategori lebih dulu diumumkan, dengan Adele dan James Bay peraih nominasi terbanyak. Masing-masing mendapatkan empat nominasi.

Adele

Kategori 'British Group' terbilang 'kategori neraka'. Sebab ada lima nama yang benar-benar besar bersaing di sana, Coldplay, Year and Years, Foals, One Direction dan Blur.

Dari kategori internasional, persaingan antara nama baru dan lama jelas terlihat. Misalnya Drake dan Justin Bieber yang bersaing di kategori 'International Male Solo Artist', atau Bjork dan Ariana Grande yang ditempatkan di sebuah 'medan perang' bernama 'International Female Solo Artist'.

James Bay

Mereka yang terpilih masuk menjadi nominasi akan diumumkan pada malam puncak Brit Awards 2016, 25 Februari mendatang langsung dari Stadion O2 Arene, London. Dan, dipandu oleh duo komedian Inggris, Anthony McPartlin dan Declan Donnelly alias Ant & Dec.
