The Maine Batal (Lagi) Tampil di Indonesia

Jakarta - Untuk kedua kalinya, grup band The Maine membatalkan rencana konsernya di Indonesia. Sedianya mereka dijadwalkan tampil di festival MonkeyLada pada 28 November mendatang.

Kepastian pembatalan tersebut disampaikan langsung oleh pihak promotor MonkeyLada, Marygops Studios. Alasan pembatalan disebut karena ada permasalahan keluarga dari salah satu personel grup band asal Amerika Serikat itu.

Grup band pelantun 'American Candy' itu meminta maaf karena membatalkan lagi penampilannya di Indonesia. Mereka menulis sebuah surat permintaan maaf untuk penggemarnya di Indonesia.

Berikut petikan suratnya:

To our dear friends in Jakarta,

It is with a heavy heart that we come to you with sad news. One of us today has received word of a family emergency which will require us as a band to miss this weekends show at Monkeylada. Though we are crushed we can't be there with you, we know that we are needed here in support of the family. We miss our 8123 family in Indonesia and thank you all for your understanding and support in this trying time. Enjoy yourselves this weekend and we look forward to enjoying ourselves with yall in the future.

At this point in time we're moving forward with all other dates for the rest of the year, but will certainly notify everyone if anything changes.
