Nama Taylor Swift lagi-lagi berada di urutan teratas sebagai peraih nominasi terbanyak AMAs 2015. Dilansir Billboard, Jumat (16/10/2015), pelantun 'Bad Blood' itu calon pembawa pulang enam gelar terbaik AMAs 2015. Yaitu, 'Artist of the Year', 'Song of the Year', 'Collaboration of the Year', 'Favorit Female Artist -Pop/Rock', 'Favorit Album - Pop/Rock' dan juga 'Favorit Artist - Adult Contemporary'.
Tak hanya Swift, para solois seakan mengambil alih AMAs 2015 dengan raihan-raihan terbanyak. Saingan terberat Swift, Ed Sheeran dan Th Weeknd yang memiliki lima nominasi. Disusul solois lainnya, Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor dan Nicki Minaj dengan masing-masing empat nominasi.

Band indie rock pendatang baru Walk the Moon adalah yang berhasil dengan tiga nominasi. Sisanya, mulai dari band country Little Big Town, Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy maupun One Direction masing-masing berlomba hanya dengan satu nominasi.
AMAs ke-43 akan digelar pada 22 November mendatang di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat. Jennifer Lopez didaulat memandu jalannya AMAs 2015.
