Jakarta - Acara tahunan MTV Video Music Awards tahun ini memiliki 16 kategori nominasi. Rihanna dan Drake masuk dalam banyak nominasi, tapi ternyata tidak semua dimenangkan oleh mereka. Berikut daftar pemenang MTV Video Music Awards 2012!

Dengan membuka malam penghargaan MTV Video Music Awards, Rihanna membuat kejutan melalui penampilannya yang dilengkapi dengan pesta balon. Ia pun berhasil meraih 'Video of the Year' dengan lagu 'We Found Love'.

Boyband pendatang baru, One Direction memborong tiga kategori. Mereka pun berhasil mengalahkan Justin Bieber, Rihanna dan Maroon 5.

Mantan kekasih Rihanna, Chris Brown berhasil membawa lagu 'Turn Up the Music' menang dua kategori. Bahkan Drake hanya berhasil dengan satu kategori.
