Sementara Chris Brown yang mendapatkan lima nominasi, berhasil mendapatkan penghargaan Album of the Year. Album "F.A.M.E." miliknya menyingkirkan album Beyonce "4", Trey Songz "Passion, Pain & Pleasure", Adele "21", Jill Scott "The Light of the Sun", dan album Jay-Z & Kanye West "Watch the Throne".
Untuk Nicki Minaj, rapper ini hanya mendapatkan satu penghargaan Best Hip-hop Song mengalahkan Kanye "All of the Lights", Jay-Z & Kanye "Otis", dan Lupe Fiasco "Out of My Head".
