Justin berhasil mengantongi nominasi International Video by a Canadian, UR FAVE Video dan UR FAVE New Artist. Dikategori pendatang baru, Justin berhasil menyingkirkan saingannya yaitu Down With Webster, Drake, Stereos dan WILDCARD. Demikian Aceshowbiz, Senin (21/6/2010).
"Saya shock. Rasanya sangat menyenangkan. Dan senang bisa berbagi ini dengan keluarga dan teman saya.. tak ada yang lebih baik." tulis Justin via Twitternya.

Miley Cyrus yang jadi pemandu acara juga mendapatkan satu piala yaitu International Video of the Years. Ia berhasil berjaya dari Eminem, Jay-Z, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna dan Taylor Swift.
Pada malam penghargaan tersebut Miley juga tampil membawakan lagu 'Party in the U.S.A.'. Ketika bintang 'Hannah Montana' itu berlaga, Justin muncul di antara para penari latar mengendarai sepeda.
Musisi lain juga ikut unjuk kebolehan. Katy Perry membawakan 'California Gurls', Ke$ha dengan lagu 'Tik Tok' dan Adam Lambert menyanyikan 'Whataya Want From Me'.
