New York - Musik tanpa video klip bak sayur tanpa garam. Siapa video klip terbaik dari musisi-musisi dunia kita? Ini dia jawaranya versi MTV Video Music Awards.

Untuk ke-25 kalinya, MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) digelar. Kali ini perhelatan akbar tersebut diselenggarakan di Radio City Music Hall, New York City, Minggu (13/9/2009) waktu setempat.

Puluhan musisi dunia ikut unjuk kebolehan. Beberapa di antaranya berhasil membawa pulang piala MTV VMA. Lady Gaga salah satu yang beruntung. Ia berhasil mengantongi sebanyak tiga penghargaan seperti halnya Beyonce Knowles dan Green Day. Demikian dikutip detikhot dari MTV.com, Senin (14/9/2009).

Best Male Video dikantongi T.I. featuring Rihanna dalam lagu 'Live Your Life' dan Best Female Video diraih Taylor Swift dengan hits 'You Belong With Me'. Penghargaan tertinggi, Video of the Year diraup Beyonce lewat lagu 'Single Ladies'.

Semua serba heboh dalam ajang tersebut. Bahkan Lady Gaga berpakaian aneh namun tetap seksi. Sementara saat Taylor menerima piala, kemenangannya sempat diinterupsi oleh pidato kecil Kanye West yang tidak suka akan kejayaan Taylor.
