'Ghost Protocol' Masih Rajai Box Office

Jakarta - Seri keempat film Mission Impossible, 'Ghost Protocol' masih perkasa di puncak box office Amerika Utara. Film yang dibintangi Tom Cruise itu mengumpulkan US$ 31,3 juta atau sekitar Rp 285,3 miliar.

Dirilis pada 21 Desember lalu, 'Ghost Protocol' diharapkan mampu melebihi pendapatan 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows'. Dan ternyata, film aksi Robert Downey Junior dan Jude Law itu hanya mampu meraup pendapatan US$ 22,1 juta atau sekitar Rp 201 miliar.

Film animasi 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked' menempati peringkat ketiga box office dengan US$ 18,3 juta atau sekitar Rp 166,8 miliar. Film tersebut memang disiapkan untuk menjadi pilihan keluarga melewatkan liburan tahun baru.

'War Horse' garapan Steven Spielberg berada di peringkat empat dengan pendapatan US$ 16,9 juta, diikuti 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' yang meraup US$ 16,9 juta.
