'Mission Impossible 4' Perkasa di Puncak Box Office

Jakarta - Petualangan agen Ethan Hunt di 'Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol' berhasil menduduki puncak box office Amerika Utara pada libur Natal pekan lalu. Film yang masih dibintangi Tom Cruise itu meraih US$ 46,2 juta atau sekitar Rp Rp 419,5 miliar.

Dengan demikian, pendapatan total domestik 'Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol' sejak dirilis 16 Desember lalu adalah US$ 78,6 juta atau sekitar Rp 714 miliar. Film tersebut mampu mengalahkan film-film yang baru dirilis seperti 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' dan 'The Adventures of Tintin'.

Pemegang tahta box office pekan lalu, 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' berada di peringkat kedua dengan pendapatan US$ 31,8 juta. Diikuti 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked' yang mampu meraup US$ 20 juta.

'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)' menempati peringkat keempat box office di minggu pertama pemutarannya. Film thriller kriminal yand dibintangi Daniel Craig dan Rooney Mara itu meraih pendapatan US$ 19, 4 juta.

Di peringkat kelima box office Amerika Utara dihuni film Steven Spielberg 'The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn'. Film tersebut hanya mampu meraup pendapatan US$ 19,7 juta di minggu pertama pemutarannya. Hal tersebut telah diprediksi Paramount Pictures karena karakter Tintin yang kurang terkenal di AS.
