MAMA Awards 2022 digelar selama 2 hari, pada 29 dan 30 November 2022, di Osaka, Jepang. Tak berbeda dengan hari pertama, hari kedua juga dihibur sejumlah musisi K-Pop bersamaan dengan pemberian penghargaan.
Untuk MAMA Awards 2022 hari kedua, Park Bo Gum dipercaya sebagai pembawa acara. Lokasi masih digelar di tempat yang sama, yaitu Kyocera Dome, Osaka.
BTS membawa pulang 3 dari 4 Daesang (penghargaan tertinggi) yaitu Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, dan MAMA Platinum. Penghargaan MAMA Platinum diberikan oleh RM Cs karena dianggap 'menciptakan fenomena budaya global di luar K-Pop'.
